In celebration of Farnham’s inaugural Craft Town Residency, UCA Surrey Galleries, in collaboration with the UCA Ceramics & Glass course, presents Shaping Glass | Shaping Futures at the James Hockey Gallery throughout October Craft Month 2024.
I was delighted to be the inaugural Artist in Residence for Farnham World Craft Town and being able to work at the wonderful facilities at UCA was a huge part of my time there. Wonderful to have one of the sculptures I made be presented as part of this dynamic exhibition which showcases works by current and former UCA staff, students, alumni, and international artists-in-residence, reflecting the rich legacy of UCA’s glass education and its profound influence on the artistic practices of those who have passed through its doors.
